Песня DPR IAN «Calico» — это меланхоличный, но отстранённый разговор о любви, которая уже трещит по швам: герой повторяет, что он «просто ещё один» и не чей-то возлюбленный, а его сердце будто застряло в неком Калико, под «полуночным углём», то есть в темноте, дали и забытье. Настроение качается между горькой нежностью и холодной иронией — «это просто ещё одно шоу», — а ключевые образы работают на контрасте: сигарета, зажжённая в грозу и тут же потушенная, синие ночи, туман, украденное сердце и молчание вместо прощальных слов.
