О чём эта песня
Это злая, саркастичная и клаустрофобная песня-выпад против системы, где деньги, налоги и власть превращают человека в жертву: «смерть и налоги», «люби своего налогового инспектора», «закон земли — мерзкие личинки, обгрызающие мясо с костей». Настроение — ярость, отвращение и тошнота от бесконечного подчинения: герой «бежит как чёрт» от вони, чувствует себя «меньше мужчиной» и слышит, что «платишь — значит играешь, стоя раком». Приёмы простые и бьющие: повторяющиеся рефрены «So they say» и «Sense of nothing / Nothing makes sense», рифмы-лозунги «Bankrupt, corrupt / Dollars and no sense», где название Non Cent$ обыгрывает и «нет центов», и «нет смысла». В итоге это крик о том, что продажность, коррупция и поборы делают мир бессмысленным, а единственный ответ — взорваться, разрядиться и попытаться «забрать своё».
